I spent a few weeks reading Reddit threads before buying this because I was really worried about getting a metal reformer that would squeak or wobble. I’ve used Balanced Body reformers at a studio before, so I was honestly a little hesitant about going with aluminum.

So far, I’ve been really impressed with it. The carriage is very quiet and the glide is smooth — I haven’t noticed any of that metallic clanking I was worried about. It’s also much more solid than I expected. The machine doesn’t really move, even when I’m doing jumpboard work or those high-plank feet-in-straps exercises.

The padding was another nice surprise. It’s firm, but not uncomfortably hard like some cheaper reformers I’ve tried.

If you’re on the fence about aluminum because you’re worried about noise or stability, that was my main concern too. I’ve had a really good experience with this one so far.

Great reformer and very happy with the purchase. The aluminum frame gives it a clean, premium look, and it feels solid and stable when using it. The carriage is smooth, the springs provide good resistance, and the upholstery feels comfortable and durable.
